The suspension marks the second of its type for Bing since December, and arrives amid an ongoing crackdown on know-how platforms and algorithms from Beijing.
Chinese language Web customers first noticed the suspension on Saturday.
“Bing is a global search platform and remains committed to respecting the rule of law and users’ right to access information,” Bing stated on its Chinese language search website.
Bing didn’t specify a purpose for the suspension. Microsoft didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
Web firms in China have been hit over the previous yr by a regulatory crackdown that has imposed contemporary curbs on areas from content material to buyer privateness.
